We were also swindled by Lesley Swainbank in the 1990's. As were several other antique dealers in Asutralia. once he has the money there is no catching hold of him and the goods are absolute junk. He is as slippery as an eel and even the UK police and customs don't seem able to do anything. I would advise everyone to keep well away. He is totally amoral has no qualms about ripping everyone off.

I wonder how many gullible folks he's put out of business.
